Location: Address given after payment (we will be live on Saturday classes in Los Angeles 90044 and virtual on Sunday classes via Zoom)

This class introduces students to and re-acquaints the student with their own home sewing machine. Through a series of project-based step by step exercises, students will quickly gain mastery in winding the bobbin, threading, changing the needle, balancing tension, stitching and clean finishing various types of seams. Basic apparel construction concepts; such as applying interfacing,sewing curves, use of various seam allowances, elastic placement and basic hand sewing, with professional pressing willbe emphasized. Students will apply these skills to construct a tote bag and various items of clothing and accessories.
 
PLEASE READ: Students Must provide Their Own Sewing machine and necessary supplies for each class. Pattens and projects will be chosen by instructors
